The species has gained popularity in the European countries and in the USA both in the prescription and herbal markets.

Libido Enhancer

The active ingredient in yohimbe called alkaloid yohimbine is a psychoactive substance. As a sex stimulant, yohimbine functions by inhibiting the alpha-2-andrenergic receptors which greatly enhances the mood and desire for sex.

Potency enhancer

Yohimbine increases the dilation of the blood vessels in the penis hence improving the flow of blood to the penis.  Also it enhances the body’s production of adrenaline (norepinephrine) which is required for erection. The herb serves as a stimulant of the nerve ganglia in the pelvic area and delivers adrenalin to nerve endings. These processes aid in enhancing sexual sensitivity in the genital area. All these contribute to erections that last longer erections and better quality of sex.
